Make the next order count.

Find the weak point in your plan. Start there.

A good plan survives first contact.

An arrow is only the beginning. The force behind it needs somewhere to assemble, a route for supplies and a reason to stop. Start with the part of your operation that is failing, then return to the map with one change to try.

Before you deploy

Battleplan shipped on 12 October 2026. These guides still use the public demo and the developer’s published pre-release notes where a live mission has not been rechecked. Day-one patch v1.0.5.1 (13 October) fixes the Enter key confirming “are you sure” dialogs, some mission achievements, and general stability. v1.0.5 added a switch to turn off mouse-at-screen-edge camera panning, missing Polish font characters, and a pause after loading a mission.

Later patches, checked October 29: v1.1.1 (22 October) adds click-and-drag re-ordering of the in-mission division buttons, a large performance gain on low-end GPUs and big maps, Commonwealth brigades instead of regiments, fixed camera controls when the view is rotated, and a faster exit from a mission. v1.2.0 (29 October) adds a Minimal View mode that strips visual clutter, a toggle for unit perimeter overlays, rebindable F1–F7 hotkeys for the visual modes, and an option to pause time while an announcement panel is open. It also raises supply transfer rate near depots, makes enemy headquarters and scouts retreat less when cut off, and improves Fighter Bombers and night refuelling. Earlier: v1.0.6 (14 October) made the announcement and tactics panels draggable and raised starting requisition by 1. v1.0.7 (15 October) resets a save fully when you lose a mission. v1.0.8 (16 October) puts Timeline Orders on the new-campaign screen as well as in Options, and you can box-select and drag in the army constructor.
